About Me

ML Engineer | AI Researcher | Neuroscience Enthusiast

I'm a Machine Learning Engineer at Multiverse Computing in San Sebastian, Spain, with a passion for neuro-AI and computational neuroscience. I hold an MSc in Data Science (AI specialization) from Newcastle University with Distinction, where I was awarded a prestigious government scholarship valued at over $100,000.

My research focuses on how intelligent agents—biological or artificial—form reliable representations from incomplete or noisy sensory data. I combine generative modeling, optimization, and causal inference to study perception, communication impairments, and robust inference in complex environments.

I've developed production AI systems serving 10M+ users, published in Q1 journals (AI & Society, International Journal of Environmental Science), and was selected as one of 100 researchers worldwide for the Mediterranean ML Summer School sponsored by Google DeepMind and NeurIPS.

Research Interests

Exploring the intersection of neuroscience and artificial intelligence

Neuro-AI

Investigating how biological neural systems process information and applying these principles to develop more robust and efficient artificial intelligence systems.

Computational Neuroscience

Building computational models to understand neural information processing, perception, and how the brain forms reliable representations from noisy sensory data.

Uncertainty-Aware Systems

Developing decision systems that can quantify and reason about uncertainty, crucial for reliable AI deployment in healthcare, autonomous systems, and critical infrastructure.
